FLEX-TEND Force Balanced Flexible Expansion Joints are designed to protect water or wastewater pipeline systems from the stresses produced by ground motion either from seismic activity or gradual soil subsidence. The Force Balanced FLEX-TEND unlike conventional flexible/expansion joints does not generate an axial thrust that must be compensated for.

The EX-TEND® 200 joint is designed for pipelines that are subjected to expansion and contraction forces and is self restrained at full expansion.

The FLEX-900® is designed for deflection application. It is perfect for field fabricating "river crossing" pipe from standard mechanical joint or flanged pipe.
